The Engineer of Chelm - Merkavah's Jewish Environmental education links and resources

The Engineer of Chelm, Merkavah's steampunk eco-fantasy play based on the Book of Jonah and adapted for the environmental age, was performed at the Jewish Museum London in July 2010. Written by Rebecca Nesvet, and directed and produced by Joel Stanley, the play explores questions of personal responsibility and escapism.
To accompany the play, Merkavah developed a range of educational resources addressing environmentalism, the Book of Jonah and the play itself.
The education pack, which includes a wide range of links to environmental and Jewish-environmental educational websites, can be accessed, for free, here.
While the pack is best utilised in alongside a performance of the play, many of its activities stand alone.
